Lying Triceps Extension on Flat Bench with a Straight Bar

How to do it
Execution:
  1. 1
    Lie on a flat bench and grip a straight bar with a pronated (overhand) grip.
  2. 2
    Bend your elbows to lower the bar toward your forehead under control.
  3. 3
    Extend your elbows to return to the start position without letting your upper arms swing.
Tip: angle the arms slightly back from vertical — this keeps tension on the triceps at the top.
